Do you want to remove the iron from your water supply? If so, the SIM is an economical and efficient way to do so without having to use a venturi, pricy pumps, or dangerous chemicals. The SIM is a great way to remove low concentrations of dissolved manganese and hydrogen sulfide from your family’s water. The SIM oxidizes the iron in the water by creating an air bubble in the top section of the tank before the water goes through a filtering media.

Are you wondering how the SIM works?​

• first oxygen gets added to the inbound water
• it then passes through a compressed air bubble
• next it goes through a special filter bed
• the pH level of the water is increased by the special media
• the media enhances the removal of iron by trapping iron precipitate
• over time the media will begin to fill with the filtered iron
• then the regeneration process starts and the trapped iron gets backwashed
• the efficiency of the SIM has increased performance when water with a high pH level is used
• the SIM is equipped with a check valve stopping air from escaping out of the tank
